Move-OnUp started life as a “man with a van in London“. And yes, we are still a fairly small family-run business. Company founder Dougal Steward with his many years of experience  remains firmly at the helm.

However, over the last 10 years, Move-OnUp has expanded to provide a much wider range of services. We also cover far more locations. What are the Alternatives?

Of course, whatever your needs, you could simply hire a van without a driver. Yes … That might save a few pounds. But then you would have to do all the packing and loading yourself. It’s not as easy as you might think! Move-OnUp will be able to securely load far more of your stuff into the van. Do it yourself and you may need a second trip. Then there’s the driving. How far do you have to go? And when you arrive (exhausted) there’s only you and perhaps your spouse to unload. Perhaps you could get a friend or two to help. You would probably feel the need to reward them in some way. You have to factor this into your costs. What happens if they fall ill on the day. Disaster!
